NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN the Style Like Kate Giveaways ("Giveaway" or "Giveaways"). A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. ELIGIBILITY:
The Giveaway is open only to U.S., D.C., residents of U.S. territories (including Puerto Rico), and Canadian residents (excluding residents of the Province of Quebec) who are physically located in the U.S., D.C., territories of the U.S., or Canada and are the age of majority or older in their state or province at the time of entry. Entrants must have a valid e-mail account. The Giveaway's Sponsor is Spectrum Brands, Inc. ("Sponsor").
If you do not meet all of the eligibility requirements in these Official Rules, you are not eligible to win a Prize. Employees, directors, officers and contractors of Sponsor its affiliated entities, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate families or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter the Giveaways. The promotions are subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and are void where prohibited or restricted by law. Chances of winning these Giveaways depend on the number of eligible entries.
2. TO ENTER ONE OR MORE GIVEAWAYS:
The Giveaways will begin at 12:00 p.m. (CT), on December 4, 2018 and end at 11:59 p.m. (CT), on January 30, 2019 ("Promotion Period"). During the Promotion Period there will be a drawing once a week starting on December 5, 2018 for nine [9] weeks. One winner will be randomly selected on each of the following dates: December 5, 2018; December 12, 2018; December 19, 2018; December 26, 2018; January 2, 2019; January 9, 2019; January 16, 2019; January 23, 2019 and January 30, 2019.
To be officially entered for a chance to win and become a Participant in each Giveaway, eligible entrants will go to the Giveaway's web address (www.russellhobbs.com/style-like-kate-giveaway) each week during the Promotion Period, and sign up with their name, e-mail address, and birthdate. Properly completing the entry will give the Participant an individualized link that allows Participant to earn more entries into the Giveaway by doing any of the following:
- Refer a friend. (One [1] additional entry per friend who visits the Giveaway’s web address through Participant's individualized link)
- Referred friend enters the giveaway through Participants individualized link. (Two [2] additional entries into the Giveaway)
- Sharing Participant's individualized link on Facebook. (Five [5] additional entries into the Giveaway)
In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a Participant, entries will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account from which it was sent. The authorized account holder shall be the natural person to whom the applicable e-mail account has been assigned.
On each drawing date, Sponsor will select a winner at random from the Participants. The winner will be subject to verification and be contacted via e-mail ("Notice"). The winner must respond with his/her full name, address and email address within 72 hours after the drawing or be disqualified at Sponsor's sole discretion.
In order to be declared a winner, each selected Canadian participant who is eligible for a Prize will be required to confirm that they have correctly answered the mathematical skill-testing question below:
Step 1 Multiply 800x200;
Step 2 Add 7000 to the answer from Step 1;
Step 3 Divide the answer from Step 2 by 5;
Step 4 Subtract 8000 from the answer to Step 3
By entering these Giveaways, Canadian Participants acknowledge and agree that: (a) each voluntarily entered this Giveaway(s) and (b) each will voluntarily give Sponsor, if a winner, his or her email address and mailing address and (c) he or she has the opportunity to opt out of receiving any subsequent notice from Sponsor and any of its affiliated and associated companies about their products and services.
3. PRIZES:
One prize will be awarded after each drawing during the Promotion Period. The value of each prize ranges between $29.99 - $129.99 USD. The total value of all Prizes will not exceed $4999.99 USD. All federal, state, provincial and local tax liabilities are the sole responsibility of each winner as are all costs, fees and expenses associated with accepting, receiving or using the Prize. No cash alternative, transfer, substitution, or cash equivalent for a Prize is permitted, except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor may post the winners' first name and last initial on its social media pages. Prizes will be shipped no later than 30 days after receipt of the winner's shipping address.
4. AWARD OF PRIZES:
Sponsor is not responsible for any change in Participant's mailing address, e-mail address and/or telephone number. The decisions of the Giveaway judges (who are employees of Sponsor) shall be final in all matters relating to the Giveaways. If a winner is found to be ineligible or declines acceptance of a Prize for any reason, an alternate Prize winner may be selected. By entering this Giveaway(s) and/or accepting a Prize, each Participant consents (except where prohibited by law) to the reasonable use by Spectrum of his/her photograph, likeness and/or image, hometown address, and first name and last initial without further compensation or acknowledgement for any future promotional activity, unless prohibited by law.
5. CONDITIONS:
By entering the Giveaway(s), Participant affirms that he or she has read and agrees to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which are final. Participant confirms he or she voluntarily entered the Giveaway and voluntarily gives Sponsor his or her e-mail addresses and if Participant is selected as a winner he or she will give Sponsor his or her mailing address to receive a Prize. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, or unintelligible entries, lost connections, miscommunications, failed transmissions, other technical difficulties or failures, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alternations of entry materials or for technical, network, telephone, computer hardware or software malfunctions of any kind or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof, or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information or the failure to capture any such information.
Further, Sponsor is not responsible for any injury or damage to Participants or any other person's computer or device related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any materials in the Giveaways or for any electronic mail that is late, lost, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or illegible. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or modify these Giveaways or these Official Rules at any time for any reason including but not limited to any intervention with the Giveaways beyond the control of Sponsor. In such a circumstance, winner(s) will be selected based on responses received to the date and
time of termination. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries that in its sole discretion include tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaways, or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in a disruptive manner or have failed to agree to these Official Rules or Privacy Policy.

These Giveaways will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Wisconsin, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of laws rules or provisions. Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in the Giveaway(s), Participants agree that (a) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with these Giveaways shall be resolved without any form of class action, (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including without limitation lost profits may be awarded (collectively "Special Damages"), and (d) Participants hereby waive all right to claim Special Damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased.

However, by participating you elect to receive occasional updates, special offers and other information from Sponsor and its affiliated and associated companies about their products and services and agree your e-mail address may be shared with those companies. On any notice you receive, you will have the opportunity to choose not to receive any subsequent notices.
8. Entire Agreement:
These terms set forth the entire agreement between the parties relating to the subject matter hereof, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings relating thereto, whether oral or written. Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are not sponsors, endorsers, or administrators of these Giveaways. You are providing your information to Sponsor. The information you provide will only be used as described in these Official Rules.
